We understand how you feel – visiting your provider may not be at the top of your to-do list. In order to help make the experience of visiting your PGOMG provider as easy, straightforward and pleasant as possible, we’ve provided a guide below.
Whether you’re visiting our office for an annual well-woman exam or you have a specific need such as pregnancy, menopause, menstruation or other, our team is prepared to offer quality, individualized medical care.
I need an appointment with PGOMG – what do I do?
There are several ways to make an appointment with PGOMG, but the most efficient method is to make your appointment online via our patient portal. Through the PGOMG FollowMyHealth patient portal, you can request an appointment and prescription refills online on your schedule. You can also contact our office online to make an appointment, or call (415) 923-3123.
Please note: We offer appointments with a nurse practitioner as early as 7:30am – giving patients plenty of time to fit in an appointment before work or school.
I’ve made my appointment – what’s next?
The date and time is set for your PGOMG appointment, but there are still a few things you can do to make the most of your appointment and cut down on any wait time you may experience when you arrive. We recommend that patients download and fill out patient forms at home, prior to visiting our office. This way, you can fill out any forms you may need on your time, without feeling rushed or as if you are delaying your appointment. If you are unsure which forms you need for your visit, please contact PGOMG.
Also, we ask that you please confirm with your insurance carrier that you are covered prior to the appointment. PGOMG is contracted with most available insurance plans.
My forms are filled-out and my appointment is tomorrow – what’s next?
If you are visiting PGOMG for your annual well woman exam, we recommend having a list of questions prepared ahead of time in order to make the most out of your time with a provider. We’ve explored the top three questions we advise that patients ask during an annual exam, but we also encourage any concerns that you may wish to address. If this is your first visit with PGOMG, or your daughter’s first visit, we’ve prepared a guide for you to review to help alleviate any concerns you or your daughter may have leading up to the appointment.
Anything else?
Our last piece of advice is simply to relax. We realize that visiting your provider can seem like a stressful experience, but our team is deeply committed to keeping your time with PGOMG as enjoyable as possible. We want to work with you, and we look forward to your visit.
