Are you looking for a new OB/GYN? If you recently moved, found a new job, or if you’re looking for a new provider, you may be in the midst of an exhausting search.
Finding the right OB/GYN near you in San Francisco doesn’t have to be a difficult task, though. Many women dread searching for an OB/GYN because they’re worried about investing their time and energy only to find that they don’t connect with their physician or that their preferred provider doesn’t take their insurance.
These are common concerns, but with a few simple steps, you can find the right Bay Area OB/GYN that fits all your needs.
Find out what services are offered
Not all gynecologists offer obstetrical services. For women who do not plan on having children or for those who have completed family building, this may not be a concern. However, for women who are unsure or do not plan on trying for a pregnancy in the near future, a gynecologist who does not offer obstetrical services may be a deal-breaker. It can be frustrating to need yet another provider when you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. At PGOMG, our providers offer both gynecological and obstetrical services, including menopause management, post-menopause care, and fertility evaluation.
